Imagine Peace

Hace cuarenta años, antes de conocer a su futuro marido que le marcaría de por vida, Yoko Ono habló en un impreso de Lista de Ventas Conceptuales, de una Casa de Luz, que sería básicamente cierta cantidad de prismas, que cambiaran según cambiaran las circunstancias del dia.

En un almuerzo con John Lennon, intrigado a partir de lo que leyó en ese momento, le solicitó construir una en su jardín. Sonriente ella contestó: "Oh era una casa conceptual, pero estoy convencida de que un día podrá ser construida, no se cómo".

Hoy se cumple un aniversario del nacimiento de John Lennon. Para celebrarlo se lanzará hoy y hasta el 8 de diciembre, en el que se conmemora la muerte de el, la "Torre Imagina la Paz", en Islandia. El proyecto consiste en una base con una fuerte luz, inspirada en la Casa de la Luz que Yoko previamente conceptuó, que cambia su fuerza, brillo e intensidad dependiendo de las partículas que imperen en las condiciones climáticas y atmosféricas. De forma que nunca se verá igual.

Con un lindo poema que no me atreveré a traducir para no dañar la estructura de las palabras, hoy Yoko Ono nos invita a participar de su sueño.
